Former Sarawak defender, Davide Grassi has found a new team in Cyprus, and it is top Cyprus league team Nea Salamis Famagusta FC.
The club which had previously played in the European Cup Winners’ Cup, and the UEFA Intertoto Cups is based in Ammochostos, Cyprus, and they ended the 2015-16 season at 6th place of the 14 team First Division league.
Grassi when contacted by SarawakCrocs was happy to have found a new club after his departure from Sarawak, and was hopeful that he will achieve great things with his new club.
The Italian defender had a strong performance when with the Crocs, but agreed on a mutual termination contract later in June. The deal was done following a change of coaching staff after the management of the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) decided to shake things up in the squad.
