After countless goals, and of course calls from fans to Rajagopal, Sarawak ace striker Bobby Gonzales (photo) is finally flying together with Rajagopal’s men to play for the national team.
Previously, Bobby was only listed as a ‘stand-by’ player altough he was included in the training sessions conducted by Rajagopal.
Nonetheless, Bobby himself today revealed on his official Facebook page that he will be flying to Kuwait and most probably also play in the Asian Cup Qualifier against Bahrain.
Our source tells us that Bobby was called in to replace Shakir Shaari whom was unwell to make the trip.
We wish Bobby the best of luck, and hope that Rajagopal gives this Bobby a chance to show his worth to the national side.
Bobby is currently unsettled at Stadium Negeri and looks most certain to move to a new team with contract negotiations hitting a brick wall so far.
