There has been a slight rumour that former solid defender Robert Cornthwaite might be snapped up by the Crocs despite the fact that a former Sarawak import, Ronald Hikspoors, is said to be already on his way to Kuching today.
While the rumour is still in its infancy, Robert’s departure from Stadium Shah Alam has opened new opportunities to teams such as Sarawak whom are looking for a strong central defender to replace Patrick Gerthardt.
Robert, deemed as one of the best defenders in the Malaysian league was surprisingly dropped from the Red Giants next season despite him helping the Red Giants come in second in the Malaysia Super League, and winning the Malaysia Cup recently.
Sarawak is expected to announce their full team this Saturday.
