It was sort of an anti-climatic end to the Sarawak transfers rumours after the new players joined K. Rajagobal for Sarawak’s first training at Padang C Stadium Negeri for the new season yesterday.
Imports Gilmar Jose, Ndumba Makeche, Ronald Hikspoors, Syarol, Mohd Akmal and Sharil Saa’ri were already at the training ground and Sarawak Secretary General Abdullah Julaihi, was there to confirm at least one of the new faces Sarawak will have next season.
Abdullah’s confirmation, and the show of the new faces at training unofficially puts today’s press conference by Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) less exciting although still very much important.
Other players such as K Gurusamy and Syahrul Azwari, also signings for Sarawak in the coming season have also arrived in Kuching last night.
The Crocs President Datu Sudarsono Othman is expected to announce Sarawak’s new players today although it is expected to be not the complete list just yet.
