Abang Jo supports Manchester United

The Premier of Sarawak, Yang Amat Berhormat Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Abang Haji Openg, or better known as Abang Jo, has admitted that he likes Manchester United.

The Premier told Khairy Jamaluddin and Shahril Hamdan about his preffered team in the English Premier League when he was asked by Khairy during his Keluar Sekejap podcast interview.

According to the Premier, he had already been to Old Trafford to watch a Red Devil’s match.

“MU is good. I went to (Old) Trafford to see them.” quipped Abang Johari when asked by Khairy which English Premier League team does he support.

Aside from claiming he favoured Manchester United, the Premier’s love for football was also seen as he used football anology when explaning his administration style to Khairy, citing that everyone has to work as a team in order for the team to win.

“It’s like a football team. If you want to win, all the team players need to play their role. But you need a captain. And the captain must know the role of other players. And the ball must be passed. If you are the only one holding the ball, you can’t win.

“This is the way it should be done. So for me the team will be there. There will be a new team. A new captain, but the team still has the same spirit. The Ngap Sayot spirit is still there.” said Abang Johari again.
